Abstract
Financial behavior is influenced by a range of factors and components, making it a key factor in individual and organizational growth and development. Among these factors are financial knowledge, risk tolerance, and individuals' capacity to learn. The main objective of this research is to examine the factors of risk tolerance, financial knowledge, and the learning capacity of managers in the growth and development of cooperative companies. This research is categorized as applied based on its purpose, descriptive based on its method, and correlational among descriptive research types. The statistical population consists of managers from 2,690 cooperative companies in Mashhad. The sample size was determined to be 341 companies using Morgan's table. A standardized questionnaire was employed to measure the variables. To test the hypotheses, factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used, utilizing SPSS and LISREL software. Additionally, pre-tests for structural equation modeling were conducted to ensure the reliability of the results. The research findings indicate that financial knowledge has a positive and significant impact on the growth and development dimensions of cooperative companies. They also show that the level of risk tolerance significantly affects the growth and development of these companies. Ultimately, it was determined that improving managers' learning capacity can enhance the growth and development dimensions of cooperative companies. Therefore, increasing the levels of risk tolerance, financial knowledge, and learning capacity among managers can contribute to the growth and development of cooperative companies, as these individuals are better equipped to make optimal decisions in adverse conditions and leverage the productivity opportunities that arise from these decisions.
