Abstract
Numerous studies have been conducted on destination choice and tourists' intentions, and it has been proven that there is a very close relationship between tourists' intentions and their motivation for choosing a destination. Medical tourism in Iran, despite the high quality of medical services and lower costs, has not yet found its place in the market due to the lack of proper advertising and is still in its early stages. The lack of targeted and effective research in this field in Iran is the primary motivation for conducting this study. Accordingly, the aim of this research is to examine the impact of medical tourism motivation on the behavioral intentions of visitors to Razavi Hospital, considering the mediating role of perceived value. This study is applied in terms of purpose, descriptive-analytical in terms of data collection, and correlational in terms of methodology. The results of the study showed that the perceived value of tourists significantly explains the behavioral intentions of hospital visitors. Additionally, perceived value mediates the relationship between medical tourism motivation and the behavioral intentions of hospital visitors.
