Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the impact of social health and its dimensions on the quality of life of Farhangian University students. In this study, a specific conceptual model is presented that examines the impact of social health and its various dimensions on the quality of life of Farhangian University students. In this regard, the five main dimensions of social health, including social integration, social participation, social acceptance, social cohesion, and social flourishing, which were extracted from the research of Keyes and Shapiro in 2005, will be examined for their impact on the quality of life of students. The statistical population under study includes all students of Farhangian University of Mashhad, Hasheminejad Campus. According to Morgan's table, the required sample size for this population is 240 people. The research period is from 1 Mehr 1403 to the end of Esfand 1403. The data collection tool included a standard questionnaire with 43 questions, the validity and reliability of which were confirmed and distributed among the statistical population. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics. . Also, all five dimensions of social health including social integration, social participation, social acceptance, social cohesion, and social flourishing had a positive and significant effect on the quality of life of students. Among them, social cohesion with a path coefficient of 0.61 had the greatest effect on the quality of life of students, while social flourishing with a path coefficient of 0.72 showed the greatest relationship with the quality of life of students through the correlation coefficient and Pearson test.
